[Gpdd] Health: Brownie Bear Update

Hello Slaves,
Thank You for keeping my Little Bear in your
Thoughts and Prayers. I am so overwhelmed with
all of the private & digest emails wishing Brownie
Bear the best. Thank You!!! My Bear is resting
right now and she is doing just fine. She is not
drinking as much water as I would like her too,
so I'll syringe-feed her some water mixed with
a little apple juice in the morning. She has been
eating a little bit here and there, mainly her
hay. I stuffed some toilet paper rolls with hay
and so she's been playing with those. Occasionally,
she eats some pellets and then goes back to rest.
She has eaten some red leaf lettuce too. Good Girl.

Last night (Wednesday night), I was supposed to 
goto bed at a decent hour, but of course, I couldn't
get to sleep. So, I just watched her until about 2am
until I got tired. I wish I could watch her 24 hours
a day, but I know that's not possible. And this
morning, after I gave her the medicine (Metacam for
pain and Baytril-antibiotic), I put her back in her
cage. And then, wouldn't ya know, she starting
chewing on her cage bars because she's used to being
free-range and she wants OUT! But, she knows that
she's healing and so, I think she understands that
she can't run around right now.

I talked to Judi (No.Va./Baltimore/D.C. Rabbit and
G-Pig Rescue Goddess) earlier today and got some
more tips on Post-Op Care...Thanks Judi! And I think
we're in good hands. I keep Thanking GOD for giving
me another day, another hour, another minute with
my Pig because I can't even imagine Life without
her.

I am going to work tomorrow for probably just 1/2
the day since my Bear is doing well. Daddy Slave
works from the home, so he's going to periodically
check on her. He doesn't mind me staying in the
living room with her because he knows how PYSCHO
I am about my Pig. :-)

She is pooping and peeing, so I'm happy to see
that. And when I kiss her on her head, she Purrs...
a good sign. I feel so bad for her because I know
she's a little uncomfortable, but I know she knows
that I Love her. I would do Anything for that Pig--

Well, I must go and tend to my Brownie Bear.
Again, THANK YOU for thinking of us, and I'll
keep ya'll updated on my Bear's condition.
