[Gpdd] Misc: Peach Pigg, and my own thanks

Tex, I was quite saddened to read of Peach Pigg crossing the bridge. It's
always amazing to me, after all this time with the little ones, how much
they can come to mean to us. One person I know joke that "All it takes for
David to love a guinea pig is for him to find out the pig is there." That's
pretty true- so when I saw about Peach Pigg, I really felt the loss.

Also, having lost 2 piggies in recent weeks, folks here wrote me many nice
emails. I had planned on posting to thank folks who wrote about Cinder when
Evander became ill quickly and crossed the Bridge as well. It's been a bit
tough to say goodbye to two such close buddies, so I wanted to thank those
who wrote after I told of both Cinder's and Evander's crossings. We had gone
over a year without losing anyone, and now since August we've lost four.
It's always painful, but that's only because I love these little ones so
much. The pain of saying goodbye is a small price to pay for the chuckles,
the hugs, the whirring, purring, and rumbling in my life. These funny little
animals are very endearing, and I can't imagine it being "life" if I don't
have them to share my time on earth.

David
