[Gpdd] health: Beethoven's hernia

I have to run off to work, but I wanted to give a quick update.  Beethoven's
hernia has seemed to stay pushed back in so far, I can't feel it.  He's
eating lots of hay and not sure about his water consumption, so I'm giving
him syringe fulls.  He actually started drinking out of the syringe just
now, so I filled up his water bottle full so I can see If he drinks any.
His poop is smaller and gooshier, but maybe thats from the baby food I gave
him last night.  Spirits are much better, his and mine.  He's clucking and
purring & kissing.  I have another vet appt on Monday, so I want a better
talk with the vet.  If they do surgery for bladder stones, i don't quite
understand why we can't for a hernia...One day at a time.  Thanks for the

(I think maybe he overexerted himself lifting weights on the seashore at
Cape Alava, showing off for the sows...sheesh, a hernia!)
