Hello Slaves!
Last night, Brownie Bear got her sutures
removed (Thanks to Mary Slave!). I think
she was happy to get them taken out (B-Bear
says, "What a Relief!"). I also let her go
back to being free range this wheeeekend,
and she was Very Happy about that. I mean,
literally, I put her cage back on the floor
(where there is no draft), and I started
to open the cage door and then Brownie gets
this glazed look in her eye, like, "FREEDOM!".
ha ha
So, I told Brownie to try and stay calm
and patient and to walk (not run) out of her
cage. But, did she listen to me??? No!
Of course not. The cage door opened, and
OFF! She went! She started running around
the dining room table several times at full
speed and there was nothing I could do to
stop her. I hope it's okay to let her go
free range (the Vet told me to wait 7-10 days
after surgery and I waited 9 1/2 days). So,
after a while, she was Exhausted and so she
finally slowed down and rested while we watched
t.v.
I am so happy that Brownie Bear is recovering
from her surgery nicely. And I'm even more happy
that I'll be able to spend another Christmas
with my Baby...
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
Love 'n Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeps,
Leah...Slave to Brownie Bear :-)
