Wheeps to all!  I have found that using a diffuser on the blowdryer while on
low setting works great...since it doesn't "blow" on them.  I used this all
the time for my Siberian Dwarf hamster boy that insisted on peeing in his
wheel and running in it...he got a lot of baths!  Beethoven, my GP just gets
his rump washed because of that oily secretion gland.  Don't tell him I told
you, he would be mortified!  Beethoven's Slave, Jenni
