[Gpdd] [SILLY] Volunteer Positions being Snapped Up

WWW (Wild Wooley Willey) Here,  all you Celebrants and Volunteers,

Plans are coming along nicely and the thrum of eggscitement is palpable in
the crisp northwest fall air.  Whee are especially happy that so many  truly
talented cavies have stepped forward to ensure this will be a memorable and
significant historical event, the memories of which will be handed down
through the generations to come.

At any time participants should feel free to offer a paragraph chronicling
some aspect of the festivities,  Who you saw, what they are wearing, their
antics, details about that they saw and did.  These paragraphs together will
make a scrapbook a snap for even a novice.  Although visuals may be harder
there are a few out there with even those talents.  Snowy and Coco-puff ,
the Okie Pigs, are ideal for positions on this committee, Cocoa being expert
at decorative edges.  Snowy can sort the incoming stories and co-ordinate
the work of slaves Alge, Susan, and Jennifer.  They will also prepare
templates for the badges to be worn by everyone at the event.

With that said, whee have decided to gratefully accept the kind offer of
Prince, the 7 1/2 year old boar gentlepig from Austin Texas.  He will be the
Greeter and whee will provide him with an official whelcome booth outfitted
to assure his comfort.  There will be cavy cozy (in blue tartan plaid) laid
over a chaise lounge covered in fleece over that deeply comfortable space
age material used by the "Tempurpedic" mattress people. There are 2 built in
sippers, and several treat pouches. The lounge will have a chest high
counter adjacent so Prince can recline or stand as he prefers.  The third
side of the booth will be open for other volunteers who may wish to set up
shop about Piggy Rescues, Adoptions, Political Activism, like petitions to
pet smart.etc. There will also be maps and schedules of the events, list of
porta busses back and forth to the campground, and renta strollers for
families with cavy pups or old farts.  Lists of comfort stations and dining
facilities are available as well (these are usually located together for
obvious reasons).  Whee will look forward to reading follow up posts about
cavy visits to Prince's Booth.

Whee are also thrilled that the entertainment section is coming along,  The
Fluffies Snickers and Snowball have a darling act with hip swinging that
puts even Ray and Carl to shame.  Whee are also thrilled that those wild and
wacky UK pigs, Theolonius, Dizzy, Charlie "the bird" , Sidney and Hilda will
be providing a special, in-flight jam session.  Perhaps the marching band
whee where thinking of could be of the New Orleans Mummers type, Whee think
the UK Pigs would be perfect to lead this kind of a parade.

Note to Musicians: No need to worry about packing your instruments, just
fill them with rolled up items and pack bigger items around them in their
cases.  Alternatively just outfit your backpacks with elastic loops to fit
and you're ready to go.

Whee will update you on the medical team status later, whee have only a few
responses, 2 great nurses and a possibly undereducated drooling dentist.
Wheel still need a chairperson for this and whee just are reminded that whee
need at Least one and maybe lots more, Piggy Podiatrists.  They will be
scattered al\round the grounds as I am sure there whill be many piggy toes
to be massaged, oiled, filed, etc. Start your stories and your packing.!!!
