The Austin High School Bulldog Band played a rousing tune as PigAir Charter
11/16 pulled in for landing at Sugar Land Municipal Airport. As the ground
crew wheeled up the specially designed, pig-sized steps to the craft, Sugar
Land City Manager, Allen Bogard and Aviation Director Phillip W. Savko,
stepped up to the microphone to deliver their welcome speeches. Senior Pig
Pilot Blizzard stepped forward to represent all pig-kind on this most
auspicious occasion. Local crewmembers Mr. Snickers and Mr. Snowball, in
their brand new uniforms, came to attention as the City Manager presented
Pilot Blizzard with a commemorative plaque in honor of the Laying of the
Last Poo.

As time was fleeing by, Senior Pig Pilot Blizzard had to decline the
prepared carrot juice reception but urged all of the Welcome Committee and
band members to enjoy it in his absence. After hand shakes all round and as
the Austin High School Bulldog Band struck up the Bulldog Fight Song and
fireworks lit the sky, Pig Air Charter 11/16 took off into the east towards
the waiting piggies in the United Kingdom.

The first leg of the great adventure has begun
