One suggestion that was given to me is that you can fill a plastic bottle about 3/4 full with water and freeze it.  Then you can put it in the cage and they can lie near it to cool off.  If you keep a couple in the freezer all the time, then while you're re-freezing one, you can put the other in the cage.  My guys took special interest in the labels of the bottles, so make sure all the glue is off so that if it's toxic they won't hurt themselves by eating it.

It occurs to me that if yours are used to cranberry juice, you could freeze some and put it in a bowl for them to lick--seems that that might work with just plain ice, too.

If you have windows that the sun comes in in the morning, cover them with a blanket or towel to keep the sun from warming up the room.
