Please accept my deepest and most sincere sympathy on the passing of your old
friend KOKO. From your words, he was a special piggy indeed one who without a
doubt loved you as much as you loved him. It's strange how in guinea pig
years, 6 would make KOKO a senior little guy, in our life that 6 years passes as
quickly as a blink. No matter how long we have with them, 6 months or 6 years,
it is NEVER long enough. God brought him to your life to set up his place in
the heart of a good man and a good woman. He did that, and decorated it with
each adventure he was part of, each trip to the vet when he didn't feel well,
and every purr from the very first to his way of saying good bye. He needed you
there and you were there something so many are unable to do at times. Your way
of allowing his "housemate" to say good bye was also very special. I don't
know of ever reading about something as touching as her good-bye kisses and
snuggling. It truly brought tears to the eyes of all who have read your very
touching words. None of us easily bear the pain of loosing such a good friend. One
who did all that you have said KOKO has done for you. I know, because our
little guy George has an almost magical power in that little body of his that will
calm me when I need it and make me happy when things are not going well. So,
no I have not experienced the loss you feel but know from my words, my heart
knows the tears you have cried, mine just haven't arrived as of yet. So once
again, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of KOKO, a very special
guinea pig and an even more special "friend". He will be missed I'm sure.

Sincerely,

Joseph Petrillo, George the guinea pigs daddy
