I was searching for some information of guinea pigs and diseases when I came across this website http://www.rngp.org/index-guinea-health.shtml
It recommends giving your guinea pig a drop of whiskey to keep him warm and hydrated.??????
 
This really can't be good to give.  I would recommend syringe feeding and wrapping in blanket and giving a hot water bottle.
