[Gpdd] Announcement: Kali's gone

I'm very upset today. Kali was going to have babies
soon and she suddenly got sick and died today. She was
one of the 100 resqued from a farm in Ohio. She had
started spotting some, so I new she would give birth
in the next 24 hours. I was nervous because it was her
first pregnancy and she was so young herself. I went
in to check on her and she was lying down and she
wouldn't get up. She wouldn't eat and her head would
just drop when I lifted it up. I don't know whether
she had gotten toxemia or whether she had a heart
defect and had a heart attack. She showed all the
signs of toxemia, but the book said it was usually in
obese sows. She was a little runt, so she may have had
something wrong with her. I felt so bad that I
couldn't help her or the babies. I lost three pigs
instead of one. I'm so depressed! I cried with every
dig of the shovel to bury her. 
 I hope Katie has a normal birth. She is older than
Kali was, so I'm hoping she will do OK. I'll be a
nervous wreck.
