Weighing in on the salt issue, I also put a salt wheel
in the cage, and I do see them at it occasionally. They
must 'know' when they need it. What foods do they eat
that they would get salt from? To me, that's like when
'they' say we don't need vitamins because we get all
we need from what we eat. I don't know about you guys,
but I don't eat that well!  The salt wheel is so small
and so cheap, and so easy to put up, I figure why not?
Then I don't have to worry about it.
