Georgina,
I just wanted to offer my condolences on the passing of your beloved
PADDINGTON and offer at the same time offer my very best to his three companions that
were cruelly left to fend for themselves in the forest. You did so right to
bring them all to the vet to have them all checked out when you saved their
lives. It was VERY responsible and speaks so well of your love for these little
guys. It was sad that the vet did not discover the coccidea that had apparently
afflicted the little guy. Although I do not know if such a condition HAD been
discovered, if anything could be done to save his life. I also commend you for
realizing that PADDINGTON'S death will not have been in vain and that the vet
will again begin testing these little guys for that disease. I know how it
must break your heart to say good bye to new little PADDINGTON but YOU gave him
and his companions a NEW life to live where otherwise they would have surly
perished. Your hears speaks well of your love for Gods littlest of creatures.
PADDINGTON though gone across the bridge, will always live in your heart. and
HOW will you ever be able to look at his companions and not remember the brave
little brother they had and you gave a new life to be it days or years, YOU
gave him a life and LOVE where he had lost that before. God had his reasons for
taking Paddington but I thank him for allowing him to pass in a place of love
and caring, a place where he will be missed and not thought of as an "object"
but rather a precious joy. So though is has crossed the bridge, HE KNEW LOVE in
his last days, and that is ALL thanks to you. So I do send my regrets and he
will become part of the daily prayer for my little guy George and when that
day comes when George must make that last journey, I hope PADDINGTON will know
him and greet him on the other side and make him feel welcome and hey shall
both await our arrival.
Sincerely,
Joseph C. Petrillo, George the guinea pigs daddy
