[Gpdd] Feeding

Hi all,
I am new here, and have been monitoring the messeges 
to see what's up.  I have mostly hamsters, but we 
also have one female gp, Patches.  I have a feeding 
question.  How much do you  feed them, and exactly 
what do you feed them?  Patches used to be eating 
only pellets (and extras like hay and fresh stuff of 
course.)  Then I saw this stuff by Supreme called 
Gerty Guinea Pig, and mixed that with the pellets. 
That was quite a while ago, so she's been used to 
this mixture.  Anyhow, we don't use a dish, but use a 
feeder hooked onto the cage bars.  We have been 
finding lots of food on the cage floor.  My daughter 
says piggies don't eat stuff off the floor. Anyhow, 
we don't know if we are wasting food, or how much she 
eats.  She is definitely not losing weight, and seems 
happy and healthy.  My husband gives her a handful in 
the morning, and I give her a handful in the 
evening.  Also, do most put vitamins in the water?  
We haven't been, but have been giving her treats with 
vitamin c and her food is fortified with vitamin c.
