[Gpdd] [HEALTH] blood

Hi there,

Hope someone could give me some advice.

It appeared my guinea pig, Fred, was suffering from both a parasitic and fungal infection. So I bathed him fist in a insecticidal shampoo for the parasites. Having read a Peter Gurney book I then mixed together some oils and put them with a carrier for the fungal infection (as per his instructions). 

Well he was really good and seemed quite relaxed sitting on my lap. then when I moved him I saw he'd lost some blood Not sure if it was from weeing or going to poo. So I put him back in his cage to look up in a book/internet  to see if I could find out the problem. He lost some more blood. He's not done this before. 

I hope it's nothing to do with the oil mixture I put on him.

This is the first time I've had a problem with any of my 8 piggies, I suppose I've been lucky so far. But it's horrible to think one may not be well.

As I say does anyone have any ideas? The only thing I could see re bleeding was stones.

He seems quite perky and not lethargic  but obviously I'm going to keep a close eye on him.
