Thank you for you note.  The IU Code of Student Rights, Responsibility,
and Conduct does provide for disciplinary action in cases such as the
incident you mentioned.  Federal law also prohibits universities from
releasing specific disciplinary information related to a named student.
Our police have identified those responsible and appropriate action will
be taken.

Mr. McKaig, 

I usually don't do this kind of thing but I feel it is my duty to my
guinea pigs.  I really hope you get to the bottom of this.  If there is
any human that can just toss a living creature out the window then he
really has mental issues that need to be address.  I really feel sorry
for this person because obviously he doesn't have a heart at all.  I
truly hope you find out who this was and do the right thing.
