Something I forgot to mention in response to neutering... My vet said sometimes people by mistake will tell the owner to withhold water or food before or after the surgery like cats and dogs... but this is NOT good for piggies (male or female). He said they will be stronger and better able to take the anesthesia and recover if they have plenty of food in their tummies, before and after the operation.
