I would like to offer my most sincere regrets and condolences on the passing
of your little guy "CHARLIE, the pig." What always makes that trip across the
bridge more difficult to accept is when that little guy or girl is but a
youngster. To see the wonder in them to see the world for the first time and learn
about it is priceless. Yet no matter how much we try and understand why God
would introduce a baby like CHARLIE to this world and then take him by the paw
and lead him across the bridge will never be something any of us will
understand. I thank him EVERY day for having one more day with our little guy.
Sometimes even the bravest of our little loved ones just cannot persuade God to let
them see tomorrow, fights as they will. You did all you could to help him as I
am sure the vet did but it was his time to go. He is now in a better place with
so many of our readers friends. I am sure that being across the bridge has
some very special advantages. I believe that those that passed that way before
CHARLIE know he is such a tough little guy and one who had so little time to
enjoy life. I KNOW that as he crossed over, there were many of our little lost
ones waiting for him to take him under their wing and explain everything to
him. And I KNOW when they get to the part about seeing you again, he will be so
very happy, knowing he will see you again. I am so sorry that you lost him so
young but God will bless him. Once again please do accept my condolences.

Sincerely,

Joseph Petrillo, George the guinea pigs daddy
