I ran across this advice site by accident, but can't believe it's allowed to exist--www.pettribune.com, click on pet links on the left, go into departments on the top & click on exotics--then click on "Know your GP"--this site was supposedly done by 2 Humane societies in California.  Totally scarey!  Such an amount of misinformation about GP's, it's inhumane.  Thank goodness this woman is selling the website--I sent her a scathing email, detailing what's wrong with it.  No surprise, I wasn't able to find a contact or email site for either   supposed Humane Society that endorsed this site.  Do with it what ya'll will.  Deb & Potter
