The vet told me how to check Tribble for gas so I'll share.  He said to press gently into her sides near her back end.  If it there is movement, your pigger probably has gas.  You should check with your pig's vet if you have any doubt.  Just remember what it feels like when you're gassy and press down on your belly.  It's the same sensation.
