[Gpdd] [HEALTH] lump in throat

i have been fostering a guinea pig for two months now and have recently found a large lump under his throat. The vet took a sample of the lump and had to send it to the local vetrinary university.  The vet gave Snowball an antibiotic to take twice a day to see if the lump will go down in size.  Snowball is five years old and I don't really know what I should do?  Would someone please make a suggestion. Thank you.
