congrats on wanting to do a C&C design.. I myself have 2 sows in a 2x3 and my 
boar in a 2x2. The middle is seperated by 2 grids. My girls love their space 
and my boar loves his space. Its quite big enough for him. Now for getting 
more...my youngest sow is expecting anyday so im going to have to expand too. 
depending on how many girls she has...my boar has to have his own seperate cage 
and the girls will get the whole 2x5 :). maybe you should build the 2x5 for the 
girls and any new piggies and ur male in a seperate one? do you know if ur 
planing on more sows or boars? if you do then base what you build etc on that.
