My Cecelia is also a bit of a biter, although she seems to be growing out of it. The funny thing is, she didn't bite at all when I got her. She only started biting after she'd been living here for more than a month. It's almost like she was too scared to bite before, she needed to feel more comfortable with me, and know that I wouldn't bite her back! She's never drawn blood, and I know she doesn't mean anyone any real harm. She actually does not bite when she's scared or something horrible (like nail clipping!) is happening. She only seems to bite when she's running about, in a good mood, and does not want to be bothered.
I am not very concerned about that. I am, however, a bit concerned about her habit of chewing on absolutely everything she encounters. . . not just chewing, but eating. Bits of carpet, sweaters, hair. . . of course I do everything I can to stop her from doing this. . . but I'm wondering if some great big ball of lint is growing inside of her. . . what should I do?
