[Gpdd] IMPORTANT GPDD ANNOUNCEMENT! Update: Please read!!

Everyone,

IF you post to the GPDD and get a rejection back that says:

You are not allowed to post to this mailing list, and your message has
been automatically rejected.  If you think that your messages are
being rejected in error, contact the mailing list owner at

it is because of a problem with the mailing list software. The message is
being generated by the hosting service, NOT the GPDD. We have put in a
helpdesk ticket with the hosting service, and hope to have the matter
resolved soon.

Any rejection sent by the GPDD will have a note with a reason for the
rejection - which is usually about your fogetting to add a Topic to your post.

Fortunately, the messages ARE then sent to the GPDD, so there is *no need
to re-post your message*. Please allow 2 GPDDs to see your message in the
GPDD; if you don't see it by then, it may have gotten lost, so please
re-submit or drop us a note at that point.

Usually messages are posted within the next Digest cycle, but due to recent
virus activity on the Net and the confusion over these bounced messages,
there is a bit of a slowdown in getting the message queue cleared.

As a reminder, if you have an urgent health question that can't wait for a
24 - 48 hour post-reply turn-around, please post to the DSN members, or
call your vet.
