I was so sorry to hear of Blizzards passing. It is
always so heartbreaking to loose one of these
sweeties. Especially when you can see them getting
older and thinning down. I noticed the difference in
my Tasha's fur as well. 
You are lucky that you had years with one that was
such a loving companion. I send my deepest
condolences.
