I don't recommend getting Rodent a male buddy. Males have a tendency to fight 
with one another, so it's probably best to wait until he's neutered to get 
him a female companion. Until then, he'll need extra attention since he won't 
have a play mate for a while. That sounds like a perfect oppurtunity to bond 
with him and help him to overcome his skittishness!
