Cavy Spirit is probably the best-known guinea pig
rescue in California. They are based I believe in San
Mateo, but they probably have foster piggies all
around the area. Go to their website,
www.cavyspirit.com, to find out how to contact them.
Even if they are not close enough to you, I'm sure
they could give you the names of some humane societies
in your area that you could check out.
