[Gpdd] Breeding: Local Breeder

I understand your not wanting to purchase pet-store pigs (I'm assuming that 
you'd buy two--preferably two females--because one really is the lonliest 
number for pigs), but breeders aren't the way to go, in my opinion. I say, "Don't 
feed the breeders; Opt to adopt!" -CavySpirit.com. Adopt a cavy from a local 
animal rescue facility or even pound. Petfinder.com is a great place to start 
looking. There's no use buying a purebred piggie if you're not planning on 
showing her in shows or breeding her (Please don't breed, though! There are already 
waaaay to many orphaned pigs in need to homes to even think of intentionally 
creating more to add to the problem!). Otherwise, a mixed breed in need of a 
home can easily be just as lovable, beautiful, and wonderful as a purebred, 
plus you very easily could save a cavy's life by adopting.
