[Gpdd] [Health]Is she picky or sick?

I have a similar problem with my guinea pig.  She doesn't want to eat her 
pellets.  I had her at college with me this year and brought her home for the 
summer.  When I did my mother started giving her treats pretty much on a regular 
basis a couple times a day.  Anyway, she also was giving her quite a few 
carrots a day.  At the same time she ate less and less of her pellets.  She made 
herself sick and we took her to a vet.  She didn't find anything wrong with her 
but gave her some fluids and vitamin shots.  She came home and got better.  
Still she didn't want to eat many pellets.  My mom started giving her Romaine 
lettuce which she loved!  Again she stopped eating pellets.  Only wants fresh 
veggies.  That's not going to do it nutrition wise.  What to do?  Doesn't want 
her hay either.  She's fine if I give her veggies but I stop and she goes on a 
hunger strike and makes herself sick.  Any ideas for a substitution for the 
pellets or something to put on them for a different taste?          Thanks
