Hi -- I am under the impression that a piggy needs only 25 mgs (50 max and I've heard that questioned) of vitamin C per day -- a 250 mg tablet cut in forths would definitely exceed that. It is possible to find chewable vitamin C tablets in 100 mgs and possible less -- but 1/4 of a hundred mgs would give you the 25. Alge
