Good luck on the Pignic--we just had one in May in Tampa Bay, Florida & it was a lot of fun.  Ask Rose at www.crittercorral.com    for some advice--she has great ideas.

Walmart (not sure if you have one in Canada) has a plastic sheeting  for very little money--plus they have a small animal play pen for about $10.   Be worth a try to protect your carpet.  If you have a tiled or linoleum area, just block that off. Deb, Potter & Molly
