I built a hidey house for Lulu and Abby last year out of cedar and they love it! It's got a generous sized door, two windows and a removable top. I'm sure that pine would be OK to use also, but definitely don't use treated lumber as it's got too many chemicals in it. Good luck, and hope your girls enjoy it! Craig, Lulu and Abby
