[Gpdd] [care]babies and water dishes

Has anyone had any problems with drowned babies when using an open top
ceramic water dish in their cage? My probably pregnant piggy, Sonja,
really likes her ceramic dish, which has a pour spout/ perch she likes to
stretch on while drinking, and which allows her to make her favorite hay
flavored tea every day shortly after I have given her fresh water every
morning. Are the babies likely to get into the water head first and drown,
or get stuck in the dish? Would a GP mother be likely to pull them out if
they did get stranded in the water dish? Sonja will be really grumpy if I
don't let her have her dish. How deep would be too deep if babies did get
into a water dish?
