Heather,

Your guinea pig may have been born blind in one eye. You can take her
to the vet to get a definite diagnosis. I also have a blind and deaf
guinea pig that was born that way. He does not really require special
care. I think having other pigs in the cage with him makes him feel
better. He does stay in the igloo and sleep more than the others. I
always put food in the igloo if I feed the others in the cage veggies .
If i did not put it in the igloo he would miss out on the food sometimes
because he does not see or hear me put it in. If I put it right in
front of him though he smells it. He seems to find everything OK in the
cage even if it is moved. He quickly remembers where things are. I am
careful when he is out because he will run into things like the wall or
furniture. One good thing you can do is to pet her gently before
picking her up because if she is blind it will startle her if she does
not know you are there. I would not be overly concerned if she is
blind. Blind Guinea pigs I have seen usually get along ok using their
other senses . I would maybe get her a companion though so she would
not be lonely.
