Hi Debbie - I can just picture the little guy, he must be so cute! :D
>From what I understand, males are capable of impregnating females at 2-3 weeks of age- so if he's starting to show mating behavior, I would separate him NOW. Boys may not become adolescents until they are a few months old, but they still have the ability to generate offspring before then and will do so if given the opportunity! Remember, gpigs are "prey" animals and one of the population's only real defense is to breed - and breed fast! ;) From what i gather, weaning coincides with seperating male/female.
