Hi Laken and Lasher,
Welcome to the GPDD! I don't think Lasher's necessarily unhappy - some piggies squeak ALL the time!! If he's keeping you up at night, try giving him some play time to run around and use up some energy in the daytime. As far as gps being nocturnal, I have heard, although don't rely on this to be accurate, that gps are most active during the period in between daytime and nightime, dawn and dusk. I have also heard that they only sleep for a few minutes at a time (which seems to be the case with my pigs). It sounds like you are doing all the right things for your pig. Perhaps your piggie isn't unhappy, he is just a high-maintenance pig who demands attention! Another thing, you said you are giving him water and food daily, you are giving him hay, too? I know when my pigs run out of hay, or anything, they let me know about it! :)
