Hello Everyone and every piggy!

Wow...sooo many new piggies being welcomed into our homes....SO exciting! Congratulations to all who have recently added on to your family with the joy of a new piggy!

Also it seems many of our special friends have been called to be part of the family at Rainbow Bridge. I"m sorry I have not written to each of you personally but please accept my warmest and deepest condolences. I know how hard it is to say goodbye to our piggies but we will see them again one day! So don't think of it as "goodbye"...it's more of a "take care until we meet again."

Well, The Uineas...they are all getting soo big. Wuinea is doing great! Her legs are much better and she has no trouble walking now. Her babies are just too cute! Tomorrow (Monday) they will be three wheeeeeks old... so of course we had to start putting them through that horrible, tramatic, embarassing experience of turning them over and seeing if they are girls or boys. We have two girls and one boy. I've check...rechecked...triple checked...and checked twenty more times to make sure because we can't take any chances of more babies. So now we have five girls in the X-Large C&C cage and one little boar all by himself. :( I took him away from his mommy on Thursday. I knew it was time. He started rumblestrutting and kept following real close to Muinea and Puinea. It was cute though since he is still so little. lol. At first he hated being by himself. He wheeeeked and wheeeeked and wheeeeked...I felt sooo sorry for him. But now he's really tame because of all the extra lovin Mommy's been giving him...hehehe. When I go in there he comes out of the pigloo to greet me and to be held. I'm home all the time so I spend alot of time with him and the other piggies. Wuinea has been a wonderful Mommy to her babies but she is starting to teach them how to become "grown up" piggies now. When they try to get milk now she pushes them away and nips at them. But they are fine...they were eating pellets and hay and veggies when they were only a few hours old. They get along well with Puinea now too. They play together and popcorn especially early in the morning and in the evening. I sit in there for hours sometimes and just watch them...better than watching TV!!!

Ok for the Piggy names...we thought the two girls were boys and had named them Vuinea and Buinea...and the little boy has colorings of a cow (brown and white big spots) so I called him my little cow baby. After we found out Vuinea and Buinea are really girls we just decided to let them keep their names rather than changing them and getting them all confused. lol. But when we saw that cow baby was a boy piggy, aka a boar...he's gained the name Boaruinea (Bori for short). So we have The Uineas:
Muinea, Puinea, Wuinea, Buinea, Vuinea and Boaruinea

Well sorry for the long post again...but just had to catch you all up on the Uinea's progress. Have a wonderful Wheeeeek! Give those babies an extra carrot from The Uineas and me!

Misty and The Uineas...Muinea, Puinea, Wuinea, Buinea, Vuinea, Boaruinea...(And Motah and Kotah now at the Bridge but forever in my heart)
