[Gpdd] (Health) A member of the Squee Squad is ill

Hello, all. I haven't posted in a long time, even
though I've been meaning to offer up condolences to
those who have lost a precious piggy. I fear I may
soon be posting somthing like that as well, because I
just found out that my oldest boar, Gizmo, who turned
4 this year, has lymphocytic leukemia. It is pretty
far advanced, and he is most likely not going to live
longer than another month or two. Because of his age,
I am not going to have him go through chemo. He would
have to be anesthetized for every treatment, and each
time he would probably be less likely to come out of
the anesthesia. So, I plan on keeping him as
comfortable as possible for as long as possible. I
just hope that I will know when it is time to help him
across the Rainbow Bridge. My husband is deployed to
Afghanistan for 8 months, so he is most likely not
going to see our little Gizmo again. He is the first
pig my husband and I got when we were newlyweds.
Please remember Gizmo in your prayers, and also pray
that his devoted slave will know when it is time to
let go.
Thank you for being such wonderful people and
understanding more than most people would how painful
this is for me.
