*Sorry if this is a duplicate message, I don't think the first one got sent.

Right away you need to syringe feed her Critical Care or pellet mush with some pumpkin pie filling. Definitely go back to the vet and have him check her teeth, especially her molars. Unfortunately he may not know how to do this. He should be able to contact another specialist in small animal dentistry to refer to if he doesn't have experience. I would take a quick look at Seagull's vet search http://www.aracnet.com/cgi-usr/seagull/vetfinder.cgi to see if there are any recommended small animal dentists in your area. Here is a list of places he can call to refer to:
Veterinarians can consult with the following schools and other vets.

The Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine (607) 253-3060

Texas A&M Veterinarian Medical Center (409)-845-4300

Dr. Connie Orcutt (head of the avian and exotic pet service at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston) (617) 522-7282

I'm not sure if he would necessarily need those numbers, but if you print them out and show them to him, he would know that you are serious about your piggie's health and won't be satisfied until you get a better answer.

Act fast and good luck,

Lauren, Pig and Pooh
