[Gpdd] [Health] He's back to being a "Hillbillie Piggie"

Okay.. So..  He's back to being a hillbillie piggie as I call it.  That pig,
I'm tellin ya.. He LOVES to chew really hard on those cage bars when he gets
excited.  I acutally had him on my lap this morning and I pried open his
lips to check out his tooth.  I knew he had chipped off the bottom of one of
them and I was wanting to see how it was growing back.  Well, it's just like
the last time.  It really wasn't THAT tooth that was chipped, the other was
cracked all the way at the top.  This time the tooth was going inward
towards his throat, still connected though.  Called the vet and got him to
the office, of course for the extra "emergency fee" and with the unexpected
detour due to road construction, Mr. "Pumpkin Pig" was none too happy.  We
get there and the doc clips off his tooth and then we hold him down to get
his nails.  My finace Rob went with us.  Rob said, "Oh, are his nails too
long?"  and Doc and I are like, "Um, yeah.." Rob says, "I didn't know how
long a guinea pigs' nails were supposed to be."  Doc and I say at the same
time "Not THAT long!"  Mr. BPP was sooo angry at me for the nail trimming..
But I"m glad it's done.  I'm also okay with the fact that I had to pay extra
for a Sunday PLUS the 8AM vet visit.  I was worried about him swallowing a
tooth that big..  He was in his temporary "cage" on the way home.  He hid in
his cozy.  Everytime I tried to check on him, he litterally turned his booty
to me saying, "Mom, I'm mad.. Leave me alone!"  He got back in his cage and
he was a happy boy.  He started eating and drinking and pooing and peeing..
Makes a Piggie Momma very happy.  I just had him sitting in my lap a few
minutes ago.  By the look on his face, I'd say he's forgiven me for now.. :)
Wait until the next time we go to the vets to get his nails trimmed... It's
soooo nice to have that extra person to get his nails :)

I think when I send the email to the digests, it doesn't go in until the
next one for the day just to make me mad even though I've got plenty of time
until the digest for the day is released.  So, by the time you read this, I
don't know what BPP and I are going to be doing!! :)
