Hi Friends:
With the risk of "being too mushy", I would like to take this appropriate
time of the year to tell you all how thankful "the boys" and I are (everyday)
for this website and to each of you. If it wasn't for my three beloved angels
(Romeo, Latte, and Hershey) who went over the Rainbow Bridge last winter, I
would never have found this site. Tex, I am thankful for you - you have
spent many an hour with me (and others) on various occasions helping us to
understand health problems of our piggies and what to do to make them more
comfortable. Leah, I am thankful for you - you have given many of us helpful hints
while keeping us all in smiles over the antics of Miss Brownie Bear and
Butterscotch. Joseph C., I am thankful for you - you have ALWAYS been so sweet and
comforting to everyone on this site that has suffered losses even as you
were suffering so deeply with your own. George was such a lucky piggy to have
you and Gail! Lisa , I am thankful for you - without the help of you (as well
as Judi, Linda, Lauren, Patricia, Janet, and Virginia and her family) the
great transport in August just would not have happened! Tom and Huck would not
have come into my life - (and what a joy they are)! Lisa and I are probably
kin anyway, because Ozzy and Huck look similar and they both came from that
scums stinky garage! I still can't get over that looooong day in August and
how well the transport turned out! Misty, Michelle, Tina, Debbie, Dana, and
Alge, I am thankful for all of you and the MANY others that helped with input
for the article that I recently submitted. (And by the way - the editor said
that she did manage to "squeeze the article into her paper" - she just had to
condense it somewhat, so I am anxious to read it, maybe that will be in a
wheek or 2) And please - if you weren't mentioned it is not because I am not
thankful - it is because I am also forgetful of names! But there you have it
- you are ALL a GREAT bunch of people and as a result, our precious little
piggies benefit and have wonderful lives! May each and everyone of you on this
site have a super holiday, and please also remember to keep the men and
women that are in the service (here and overseas) in your prayers.
Donna (Tom, Huck, G.I. Joe, and Spike)
