[Gpdd] Health - Another Question About Shedding

Do piggies shed for climate changes?  I know gp's shed all the time.  But do they also shed more hair in the Spring so they can be cooler in the Summer?  And do they shed more in the Fall so they can grow in thicker hair for the Winter?  Is there much temperature change in the Andes where they're originally from?  Just curious.
