Hi,
It sounds like it could be an ivermectin product. You
should check to be sure. Ivermectin is usually used to
treat pigs with mites (mange mites), and these types
of mites you can not see. I'm not sure how long a
fortnight is (sorry) but typically a cavy is given a
dose every week for two or three weeks.
