This morning as I was cleaning Sassy Suzy's cage she let out a little
squeal as I picked her up.  After doing some exploration I found that she
has a small very hard lump in her urethra close to the opening.  If I
even touched it she would complain very loudly.  This is exactly what
happened about a year ago and the vet removed a calcium deposit which was
about the size of a large lima bean.  

Sassy Suzy is also the one that I have written about before that  has
crusty nipples.  My vet had no idea what caused this but I did find that
daily applications of Bag Balm (available at most farm supply stores) 
helped a lot.  

Also, Sassy Suzy is the piggie that I was holding one time when for no
good reason I whistled at her.  She immediately broke into song that
lasted about 40 seconds.  She has never done it since and I have whistled
myself crazy trying to get her to do it again.

So......tomorrow I take Sassy Suzy to the vet to check on the hard lump.
