I sent this to you privately, but it got bounced, so here it is, with most heartfelt sympathy.

Andrea -

So sorry to hear of your Matisse's passing.  He sounds like an extra special, beautiful piggie.  He was a smart piggie, too, because he chose such a loving, caring mommy.

You know that you did your best for him, and he knows it too.  You made his life a piggie paradise.  As you said, it was just his time to go, but what a good run he had.

Please take comfort in the great memories you have, and the fact that true love and kindness are never gone and never wasted.  That, and your beautiful piggie, will never really die.
