OK, I'll try to be delicate here, but I have a question about a 1 year and a half boar. We rescued this guy at around 6-9 months old (guesstimate by my vet and at that time he wasn't fully mature in his private parts, but relatively healthy). Since that time he has matured quite nicely, but I have noticed that he always has a bit of a protusion-- I'm thinking it might be a sort of hernia? We had a boar that lived to 5 years old and I never noticed the same anatomical distinction. He does not seem to be bothered by it (though he makes quite a fuss when I try to keep a check on it). Is this something to be worried about? He'll have a well-check with the vet after the first of the year -- do you think it is something that can wait or should I have it looked at now?
