Rabbit food does not have the appropriate amount of calcium that a guinea pig must have in their diet. That is why it is not recommended to house rabbits and guinea pigs together and a rabbit can hurt a cavy as well. Rabbits have very strong back legs that can kick hard and possibly hurt your cavy.
