[Gpdd] Announcement re: Georges passing to the Bridge

Dear Joseph and Gail,
I am so sorry about George. I feel like I actually knew him from keeping up with his stories on the digest, and I have thought so often of him and of you since I read of his illness. I know there is nothing anyone can say that will lessen your grief at this time, because you miss him so.  But I pray that you can take some comfort in knowing that he had the most wonderful life a guinea pig could have, and as you have told many grieving piggie parents, you WILL see George again. I truly believe that as George ended his journey on this earth, he went right on to his next great adventure, where he can run and play in perfect health and joy as he waits for you to join him someday, and I know his last awareness of this world was of the love his parents had for him. And I believe that George is not really gone, he only passed from your loving care into the loving care of God.  You were so brave to ask God to help him make his passing, and it shows your great and unselfish love for George--a love I know he felt every day of his life with you. His beautiful little spirit will live forever, and in God's time you will be reunited.  Run free at the Bridge, George!
