[Gpdd] misc. yogurt

I've read in many places and also heard that yogurt in
any form should not be given to guinea pigs or bunnies
for that matter. Especially because of the high
calcium content. It worries me that someone might
start doing this and then wind up with bladder stones.

If someone knows differently please let me know. If
anyone wants I can post a couple of sources, I'm just
way behind with my email again so for right now I'm
not searching for the info. The yogurt drops are also
really high in sugar and calories. But even an all
natural organic yogurt is not good for guinea pigs.
I've heard of people sprinkling a probiotic on the
veggies but when I asked my vet about it he said he
didn't know of any scientific information that backed
it up, but that doesn't mean it doesn't help. I
haven't tried it myself.
