Hi guys
I have to say that my husband and I have made the descision not to  have 
children. We have animals that fill the gap perfectly well. I can see  why couples 
would want kids, but I much prefere the freedom and the enjoyment of  
animals. We have in total in the house 11 guinea pigs, 2 bunnies, 2 cats, 5  degus, 1 
chinese hamster and 1 fish. They give us total and absolute love (no  teenage 
years!!!) and in the same respect, give us a sense of responsibilty.  They do 
actually rule the house - everything we do caters for them all. 
A couple of months ago one of the inherrited pigs turned out to be  pregnant, 
and so during that time, if the supermarket car park was quiet I would  park 
in the expectant mums area (I will stress, I go shopping at 6am before work  - 
I would not park there otherwise) as thats what I was!, an expectant mum, and 
 ever so proud when she had her babies!!! mind you they are all my babies and 
I  love them all dearly (sometimes more than my husband!)
 
Any way, just wanted to let you know that you are not the only ones who  have 
made the choice to live a small human free zone, and let the guinea pigs  
take over your life
